• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can occur within months or even years of a psychologically traumatic event. You may have experience this event yourself or witnessed it.



    The symptoms of PTSD vary from person to person. They often include:

    • Flashbacks of the event.
    • Avoiding people or situations that remind you of the event.
    • Trouble sleeping, recurring nightmares.
    • Depression and anxiety. 
    • Irritability
    • Difficulty controlling anger.
    • Problems in your relationships with others.

    If your symptoms are causing you distress or making it difficult to function it is important to get help for some relief and to prevent the symptoms from worsening.
